Bay Horse (Cherry Burton). The pub has reopened after being closed for only a short time. James and Tracy Marritt (mother and son), who also run the White Hart in North Cave, have taken the lease.

Cornerhouse (Beverley): John Ashton reported that the beer quality appears to be improving.

Gnu (North Newbald): The pub has reopened after been closed for 6 months. It is now being run by David and Lori Wilson and they are hoping that live music will put the pub on the map.

JJ’s (Howden): The former Bojangles is due to open soon. The new owners (tenants?) are those that run the Rhythm & Booze on Princes Avenue in KUH.

King William (Cottingham): The tenant has decided not to sell the lease and the manager, Margaret Clark, is also staying.

Monks Walk (Beverley): The pub has recently reopened.

Moulders (Beverley): Taylor’s Golden Best is presently being sold and it may be kept on as a regular if continues to sell well.

Roos Arms (Roos): Ken Wagstaff (ex hull City legend) has taken over and along with his bar manager Craig are selling Hobgoblin and hope to add another beer as sales increase.

Triton (Brantingham). Hull Daily Mail readers have voted it ‘Restaurant of the Year'.

White Horse (Beverley): Samuel Smith’s are advertising for a new manager.

Open Meeting: 1st October 2008

Crooked Billet (Ryehill): Rob Jackson and his partner Ann Swift took on the lease last Wednesday. They also took on the Royal Mail at Thorngumbald about a month ago.

Royal Mail (Thorngumbald): The pub reopened about a month ago when the lease was taken on by Rob Jackson and his partner Ann Swift. They are also tenants of two cafe bar type premises in Worksop, near Mansfield.

Springhead (Anlaby): Winking Beaver no longer have the lease. It is now in the hands of Steve Buckell and Tom Masson.

Royal Mail (Thorngumbald): The pub has reopened.

Wrygarth Inn (Great Hatfield): The pub has reopened and appears to still be very food orientated. However it is presently selling a guest beer and a regular beer is also to be added soon.

Black Bull (Burton Pidsea): The pub is closed and the lease is being advertised for sale.

Black Swan (North Cave): The pub is presently selling Black Sheep Bitter.

Crown & Anchor (Elstronwick): Rumours that the pub had closed are incorrect.

George & Dragon (Aldbrough): The pub is due to reopen soon.

Gnu (North Newbald): The pub has recently reopened.

Holderness Inn (Patrington): Black Sheep Bitter, Tetley Bitter and Theakston’s Old Peculier is the current beer choice.

Nancy (Burton Pidsea): The pub is currently closed.

Rose & Crown (Beverley): The pub is presently selling Taylor Landlord & Black Sheep Bitter.

Royal Mail (Thorngumbald): The pub is presently closed.

Tiger (North Newbald): The pub is presently selling Taylor Landlord and Black Sheep Bitter.

Bay Horse (Cherry Burton): The three Marston’s beers that the pub sells were reported as being very good when Chris Robertson visited recently.

Blue Bell (Cottingham): Cliff Ottaway reported that there had been a change of licensee.

Fox & Coney (South Cave): Graham Slater had visited recently on a Monday night and was pleasantly surprised to find three real ales on sale. The one that he had tried was very good.

Green Dragon (Welton): Mark Sewell had visited the pub recently and the licensee had suggested that the 20% discount to members might be reinstated if Anthony Garrett could visit and discuss.

Half Moon (Skidby): Hobgoblin and Spitfire had been on sale recently.

Oddfellows (Beverley): The pub has now reopened with a licensee that is new to the trade and is selling John Smiths Bitter, Theakston XB and Old Speckled Hen.

Pack Horse (Bridlington): Andy Allen & Susan Vickers are the relatively new licensees, having taken over on the 27th November 2007. They are presently selling Marston's Pedigree and Jennings Cumberland on a regular basis and during the summer a changing third beer is offered.

Plough Inn (Foston on the Wolds): The pub appears to have closed recently.

Station Buffet (Driffield): Paul Alterskye had visited recently and had discovered that real ale was no longer being sold. It had been replaced with Samuel Smith’s keg products.

Triton Inn (Brantingham): Both Graham Slater and Paul Alterskye reported that the two beers (Wold Top ? and Copper Dragon ?) had been very good when they had called recently.

Woolpack (Beverley): The new tenant, Mandy, has been featured in an article in the Hull Daily Mail because, aged 21, she is thought to be one of the youngest licensees in the area.

Coachman (Bridlington): It appears that the pub closed recently and is awaiting a new tenant.

Falling Stone (Thwing): The pub had recently been refurnished in a more traditional style. The beer quality was found to be good and the temperature was not chilled like it used to be.

Green Dragon (Welton): The pub was reported as selling three real ales on a recent member’s visit. The meeting was reminded that the 20% discount to members had now been withdrawn.

Martonian (Sewerby): Two beers were available including one from Wold Top.

Oddfellows (Beverley): The pub has now been closed for about two months and the lease is being offered.

Sandpiper (Melton): The new pub was now open and despite being very food orientated it was selling three Marston’s beers.

Tiger Inn (Beverley): A fourth handpump has been installed to sell a Bateman’s beer regularly.

Triton Inn (Sledmere): The beer temperature had been found to be extremely cold on a recent member’s visit.

Woolpack (Beverley): Former barmaid, Mandy, took over in the middle of May. Jennings Bitter, Cockerhoop and Snecklifter are the beers presently being sold.

Cross Keys (Cottingham): The pub has been selling three guest beers and all were reported to be in good condition when Cliff Ottaway had visited recently.

Foundry (Driffield): The pub is presently closed and Martin Bell (PLO for Driffield) is trying to find out more information.

Sandpiper (Melton): Marston’s new pub is due to open on the 19th May.

Springhead (Anlaby): It is thought that the pub is now selling Jennings beers.

Sun Inn (Skirlaugh): A second handpump is to be installed.

Royal Mail (Thorngumbald): The pub has reopened and is advertised as being under new management.

Victoria (Withernsea): The pub has been reported as selling a guest beer.

Wrygarth Inn (Great Hatfield): The pub is presently being refurbished internally.

Bay Horse (Cherry Burton): Jennings Cumberland Ale and Banks Bitter are available with two changing beers from their own range.

Beech Tree (Kirk Ella): The licensee from the National in Hull has taken over.

Crown & Anchor (Elstronwick): The pub reopened in December and is being run by Paul Williamson and Jill Smith. They have removed the Tetley's and have put two Great Newsome beers on – they are selling very well and they buy the beer in pins (4.5 gallon) to ensure quality.

George & Dragon (Aldbrough): The pub is closed again and has been vandalised inside. The licensee from the nearby Elm Tree is expected to take the place on.

Gnu (North Newbald): The pub is presently closed.

Green Dragon (Welton): The new manager is Alan Vincent and he has been in the trade for 20 years. John Smith's, Marston's Pedigree and Adnams Broadside are available on a regular basis and another guest.

Hope & Anchor (Blacktoft): The pub has been up for sale for two years, but as there has been no serious interest the present owners will be staying indefinitely.

Nags Head (Routh): John Gwinnell put the cask ales back on during his short spell as licensee and before recently moving to the Warton Arms (Woodmansey). Marston's Pedigree and Jennings Cumberland Ale are available.

New Inn (Tickton): The John Smith's has been removed and replaced with Jennings Cumberland Ale. The pub also has a changing beer from Marston's own range.

Sea Birds (Bridlington): The pub's lease is for sale.

Roos Arms (Roos): The pub has a temporary manager after the last licensee went bankrupt. Local resident, and ex Hull City footballer, Ken Wagstaff is expected to take it on.

Rose & Crown (Gilberdyke): The pub is presently selling Copper Dragon Golden Pippin and Black Gold on a regular basis.

Royal Mail (Thorngumbald): The pub's lease is being advertised for sale and the pub may be presently closed.

Warton Arms (Woodmansey): The new licensee, John Gwinnell has taken over the Marston's pub after a short spell at the Nags Head in Routh. Beers from the Marston's range will be sold.

White Horse Inn (Gilberdyke): The pub's lease has been taken over by Zoe and Howard Brentley. They have worked all over the country and once ran the Albion in Hull for 3 weeks. No cask beers as yet and they only have the small front bar open at the moment. They are looking to attract customers in the 25 and above age group. The pub is owned by AIM and managed by S&N through their Daisy Chain pub group. A local has shown interest in buying the pub and Zoe and Howard hope to continue as tenants/managers if the sale goes through.

Woolpack (Beverley): It was reported that the new licensee was a 21-year-old female.

Black Prince (Cottingham): The pub's lease has been purchased by the Winking Beaver Pub Company. Jennings Sneck Lifter and a guest/seasonal beer are presently available.

Crooked Billet (Ryehill): The licensee is running a mini beer festival the week after ours.

Ferry Inn (Brough): Marston's are selling the pub to a company that wants to convert it into Flats. According to a report in the local Advertiser newspaper the locals are campaigning to save the pub. Alan is to ring the pub and offer the locals CAMRA's assistance.

Springhead (Willerby): The pub's lease has been purchased by the Winking Beaver Pub Company (Andy Jopling and Ian Pawson). They have appointed a manager, Mark Naggs.

Woolpack (Beverley): The licensee has handed in his notice after only a few months.

Bay Horse (Market Weighton): Lindsey Dickinson is the licensee and the pub has John Smith's Bitterand a guest beer (Bateman's XB recently).

Beech Tree (Kirk Ella): The new licensee (John Marsden) will take over on the 20th February.

Black Prince (Cottingham): The licensee is Iris Blackwell and she is currently offering Jennings Sneck Lifter and Marston's Pedigree.

Ketch (Willerby): The pub is presently selling Fuller's London Pride. Moulders (Beverley): David Walsh is the licensee and offers John Smiths Bitter, Taylor Landlord and Hobgoblin

Neptune (Easington): Licensees Paul and Christine Coupland sell Tetley and Worthington Cask

New Inn (Tickton): Bev Payne and Hazel Boynton are the licensees and they sell Jennings Bitter, Cumberland Ale and the monthly guest ale (Black Sheep recently).

Royal Mail (Thorngumbald): Jennings Mild, Bitter and Black Sheep Bitter are presently available.

Woolpack (Beverley): The licensee has handed in his notice after only a few months.

Black Prince (Cottingham): The lease has been taken on by Ian Pawson (Cross Keys, Cottingham) and Dean Kirk (George, Hull). They have put a former female manger of the George in to run it for them.

Hope & Anchor (Blacktoft): The pub is being offered for sale freehold for £675,000.

Monk’s Walk (Beverley): The pub is presently selling three beers from Jenning’s Brewery.

Norland (Hessle): The new licensee has introduced Caledonian Deuchars IPA (£1.80), Black Sheep Bitter and Tetley Bitter.

Railway (Gilberdyke): The pub has been demolished.

Station (Hedon): A planning application has been submitted by Punch Taverns for extensive internal refurbishment. The pub’s original internal layout was destroyed some time ago.

Tiger (Beverley): The licensee has recently acquired Cask Marque accreditation.

Gnu (North Newbald): The pub is presently selling Black Sheep Bitter.

Half Moon (Skidby): Theakstons Old Peculier and Timothy Taylor Landlord are now available.

St Quentin’s Arms (Harpham): The licensee had removed the lined glasses and according to a report received had told a customer that he had done so because they are illegal. Stewart Campbell has written to the licensee asking for an explanation.

Sloop Inn (Beverley): The pub is presently being renovated.

Beech Tree (Kirk Ella): The pub is running what it terms as a beer festival although only two beers are offered at a time – and only one was available on a recent visit.

Crown & Anchor (Elstronwick): Paul and Gill are the new tenants (owners?) and are selling Tetley Bitter at the moment with a possibility of selling a Great Newsome beer in the future.

Falling Stone (Thwing): A new tenant has taken a lease on the pub with a view to possibly purchasing it freehold from Wold Top Brewery in two years time. He has already returned it to a more traditional pub internally by removing the couches. A Wold Top beer is currently being sold alongside three others.

Foresters (Beverley): A Jennings beer is usually available and a guest (recently Black Sheep).

Green Dragon (Beverley): The tenants are currently holding one of their small beer festivals with seven beers on handpump and two beers being sold by gravity straight from the cask.

Moulders (Beverley): David and Chris Walsh are the new tenants.

Nags Head (Routh): The pub is no longer selling real ale.

New Inn (Tickton): The pub has a new tenant.

Woolpack Inn (Beverley): The pub has reopened with a new tenant and is selling three real ales.

Black Prince (Cottingham): The pub is presently being run by a temporary licensee.

Coach & Horses (Welwick): The pub is now selling real ale.

Crooked Billet (Ryehill): The pub has reached the final stages of Marston's Best Cask Ale Pub of the Year awards.

Station Buffet (Bridlington): The buffet has won two awards at the ACORP Annual National awards, held at Bexhill on the 28th September: It came 2nd in the Best Station Buffet section and 3rd in the Best Station Flowers/Garden section. John Sadler (licensee) grows all the plants himself from seed.

Station (Hedon): The pub's owner, Punch Taverns, is presently refurbishing the pub.

Woolpack Inn (Beverley): The pub is presently closed and the lease is being advertised. However, it is also rumoured that the pub may be sold freehold for £400,000.

Durham Ox (Beverley): The pub now only has one guest beer during the summer months.

King William (Cottingham): Cliff Ottaway reported that the beer temperature has increased to a more acceptable level following adjustments made to the coolers in the cellar.

Oddfellows (Beverley): The pub has changed ownership and has a new licensee.

Railway (Driffield): It was reported that this pub, which has been closed for some time, had now been demolished by local builder Angus Naylor to make way for new housing.

Station (Patrington): The licensee has just received Cask Marque accreditation. Stoney Binks (4.1%), the new beer from Great Newsome Brewery, has been on sale recently.

Tommy Atkins (Patrington): The pub has reverted back to its original name – The Railway.

Waggoners (Wawne): The short-lived restaurant had reverted back to a pub and is advertising that they are selling real ale.

Woolpack Inn (Beverley): The pub has recently been renovated resulting in the bench seating being reupholstered and three new handpumps fitted. Marston's signage has replaced the Burtonwood signage on the outside. The pub is presently closed waiting for a new tenant.

Coach & Horses (Welwick): Great Newsome Sleck Dust is now been sold as a regular beer and a guest beer is expected to be added soon.

Hase (Hessle): Black Sheep Bitter and two changing guest beers area available

Hop Pole (Willerby): The Black Sheep Bitter has been replaced with Tetley Bitter. The pub also sells Greene King Abbott Ale.

Springhead (Anlaby): Policy changes may still take place in the future.

White Horse (Ottringham): The new tenants already have the tenancy of the Whittington & Cat in Hull and intend to run both pubs.

Woolpack Inn (Beverley): Gerri Curran (licensee) has left, with no replacement.

Bosville Arms (Rudston): The guest beer is being sold at £2.10 a pint and the John Smith’s Bitter is being sold at £2.30.

Cave Castle (South Cave): The pub is selling a Copper Dragon beer at £2.80 a pint.

Nags Head (Routh): The pub has a new licensee called Andrew Bettney.

Triton Inn (Brantingham): The licensee is offering a 10 per cent discount off the selling price (£2.50 a pint) of real ale to card carrying CAMRA members.

Admiral Hawk (Hessle): The pub has a new licensee but no real ale.

Black Horse (Little Weighton): The new licensee, Craig Woods, also has the Polar Bear in Hull. The pub is run for him by two bar managers; Phil Doughty and Nigel Costello. They sell Black Sheep Bitter and Tetley Bitter plus a changing guest. The pub is owned by Punch and they intend to add food and a refurbishment is in the pipe line very soon after the contracts are signed.

Black Prince (Cottingham): The new licensee is Pam Redding, a local lady born in East Hull. She has run the OEG in Hull in the past and other pubs in the area. The beer range has been dropped down from four to two (Jennings Cocker Hoop & Marston’s Pedigree) in an effort to keep the beer in good condition. A new food menu has been introduced using fresh produce.

Bosville Arms (Rudston): A guest beer has been introduced to go along side the two regulars; John Smith’s Bitter and Black Sheep Bitter.

Duke of Cumberland (Cottingham): The new licensees are Paul and Sarah Harding. They are selling Jennings Cumberland Ale, Jennings Lakeland and Marston’s Pedigree and a guest.

Duke of Cumberland (North Ferriby): Harry and Millie Worthington have moved to the pub from the Victoria in Beverley. Jennings Cumberland Ale and a guest are available.

George & Dragon (Aldborough): Chris Uttley has taken over and he is selling regularly changing cask ale from the Marston’s list and hopes to add another during the summer season.

Griffin (Market Weighton): The new licensee is Joe Walker, who has been in the trade with his wife for a number of years. The pub is owned by Thwaites and sells Bomber and Original as regulars and a changing seasonal beer from the brewery.

Hare & Hounds (Leven): Tetley Bitter and John Smith Bitter are both selling well.

Haven Arms (Hedon): The pub has been purchased by Mark Hawksworth and his partner Alison Smyth. They have applied for Cask Mark accreditation. They are selling Black Sheep and Timothy Taylor Landlord as regular beers plus two guests from the likes of Roosters and Copper Dragon. They will be one of the first to have a beer from the new Great Newsom Brewery and they intend to have beer from Leatherbritches on in the summer.

Haze (Hessle): The new licensee is Dave Ainsworth and he is presently selling Black Sheep Bitter and a weekly changing guest (usually from Archers). The range may increase in the future.

Lady Le Gros (Beverley): Stephen and Linda Wraithmell (both from Hornsea) have taken over and are selling Tetley Bitter as a regular and a guest that was recently Charles Wells Bombardier. They intend to put traditional food on, have a Wednesday night Jazz club, and redecorate the pub in time for the no smoking ban. Stephen’s last pub was in Buxton.

Queens Head (Kirkburn): The beer range has increased and the pub now has John Smiths Bitter, Black Sheep Bitter and a guest.

Red Hawk (Brough): Joanne Fieldsend and Liz Owen have moved back from the ‘Duke’ at Ferriby. Two beers are available, including a guest.

Roos Arms (Roos): The new licensees are Diane Cutsforth and Rory Lowry (a chef by trade). This is their first pub and they sell Tetley’s Bitter & a guest.

Rose & Crown (Beverley): The new licensee is Craig Allan and he is selling Hobgoblin/Spitfire on one pump, a guest picked by the customers on the second pump and John Smiths on the third.

Rose & Crown (Gilberdyke): The new licensee is Bob Stevens. The pub is a free house and had Jennings Cumberland Ale on recently but he intends to change the beer regularly and may add more later. There is a new menu and wine list and he hopes to add accommodation.

Royal Mail (Thorngumbald): The new licensees are called Shaun and Glynis Frost. It is their first pub and they are selling Marston’s Pedigree and a guest. They have said that they plans to change the pub back to how it was years ago – whatever that means.

Ship Inn (Sewerby): The pub is run by Charlie Kilburn and Graham Murphy. They took over in October and are selling Banks Bitter and two guest beers from the pub group’s list. They hope to have a beer festival later in the year.

Star Inn (Kilham): Lauren Fairbank has taken on a new business partner Helen Sunderland and together they took a new 10-year lease at the end of March. They are getting a lot of beers via the SIBA scheme and they are thinking of running a beer festival around October time.

Station (Howden): Mike Hamilton has taken over and is selling Marston’s Pedigree on a regular basis and is taking the John Smiths Bitter out and replacing it with a changing guest.

Sun Inn (Beverley): The new licensees are Steve Draper, Graham Scott and sisters Debra Johnson and Lisa Magson. They are presently selling Black Sheep Bitter, Timothy Taylor Landlord and Theakston’s Old Peculiar and Duchars IPA is going to be added soon. It is their first pub, taken on a 10-year lease, and they will be adding food. They intend to advertise in Pub Mirror and are going to try and build up the trade to when it was a good pub a few years ago.

Sun Inn (Skirlaugh): The new licensees are Paul Binnington and Elaine Cobb and they are selling John Smith’s Bitter; Theakston’s Mild and XB. This is their first pub.

Tommy Atkins (Patrington): The pub has closed down due to the owner going bankrupt.

Top House (Hessle): Chris and Tracy Blackmoor have returned to the pub. They presently sell Black Sheep Bitter but the bar is due to be refurbished in the next month or two and they hope to add a mild on hand pump. Since the nearby Marlborough has closed a lot of the older drinkers have been using the pub and quite a few drink mild.

Victoria (Beverley): The pub’s new licensees are Annette and Keven Walker. They are selling three regular beers Marston’s Pedigree and Old Empire, plus Jennings Cumberland Ale.

Wellington Hotel (Howden): Maureen Daniels is the new licensee (her first pub) and is selling Old Mill Bitter and a changing guest.

White Horse (Bempton): Steve and Jayne Greenway are the new licensees. It is their first pub but they have both worked in the trade for a while. John Smith’s Bitter, Theakston’s XB and Timothy Taylor Landlord are presently available and they are planning to add a guest in the near future.

Star Inn (Kilham): Lauren Fairbank has taken on a new business partner Helen Sunderland and together they took a new 10-year lease at the end of March. They are getting a lot of beers via the SIBA scheme and they are thinking of running a beer festival around October time.

Sun Inn (Skirlaugh) The new licensees are Paul Binnington and Elaine Cobb and they are selling John Smith's Bitter; Theakston's Mild and XB. This is their first pub.

Tommy Atkins (Patrington): The pub has closed down due to the owner going bankrupt.

Top House (Hessle): Chris and Tracy Blackmoor have returned to the pub. They presently sell Black Sheep Bitter but the bar is due to be refurbished in the next month or two and they hope to add a mild on hand pump. Since the nearby Marlborough has closed a lot of the older drinkers have been using the pub and quite a few drink mild.

Victoria (Beverley): The pub's new licensees are Annette and Keven Walker. They are selling three regular beers Marston's Pedigree and Old Empire, plus Jennings Cumberland Ale.

White Horse (Bempton): Steve and Jayne Greenway are the new licensees. It is their first pub but they have both worked in the trade for a while. John Smith's Bitter, Theakston's XB and Timothy Taylor Landlord are presently available and they are planning to add a guest in the near future.

Beach Tree (Kirk Ella): A three week mini beer festival is now on.

Black Horse (Little Weighton): The pub is now selling two regular beers and two guest beers.

Black Prince (Cottingham): The pub has new licensees that in the past have run the Old English Gentleman in Hull.

Falling Stone (Thwing): The pub, owned by Wold Top Brewery, is for sale freehold.

Hildyard Arms (Patrington): The pub has been refurbished and the lease is for sale.

Sun Inn (Beverley): The pub is presently 'closed until further notice' according to a notice on the door. The tenancy is being advertised for sale on the owners website.

Tiger (Beverley): The pub is now run by Jonathan Nassau and he wants to build up a good relationship with CAMRA. Three cask ales are available and the beer quality is good according to early reports received from customers.

Triton Inn (Brantingham): The pub has now reopened after refurbishment.

Triton Inn (Sledmere): The pub re-opened recently and is selling three real ales, including a changing guest beer.

Crooked Billet (Ryehill): The pub is closed for a week to create a small extension to the eating area and for the bar counter to be moved backwards. The pub will offer 5 guest beers and a Jennings beer over the weekend of the 23rd, 24th and 25th March.

Falling Stone (Thwing): The pub is now being run by Derek Gray from The Wolds Cottage at Wold Newton. He was previously a partner in Wold Top Brewery.

Monks Walk (Beverley): A planning application to build a restaurant on the outside drinking area has been turned down after a number of nearby residents objected.

Rose & Crown (Beverley): The pub is currently selling Hobgoblin and a guest beer.

Springhead (Anlaby): It appears that the emphasis on live music may now remain.

Sun Inn (Beverley): The pub has not had any real ale available on several occasions recently.

Crooked Billet (Ryehill): The pub is to offer 5 guest beers and a Jennings beer over the weekend of the 23rd, 24th and 25th March.

Foundry (Driffield): The pub is holding a beer festival from Friday 27th to Sunday 29th April when the number of beers available will increase from 5 to 10.

Triton Inn (Brantingham): The pub has been purchased by CAMRA members Paul and Anne Rusling. They plan to convert it back into a more traditional pub that serves good food, rather than a restaurant with a bar.

Ship Inn (Sewerby): John Kilburn is the new licensee of the pub that is owned by Marstons (was W & D). It is his first pub and he took over about 12 weeks ago. He is currently selling Banks Bitter but intends to have beers on the other two handpumps within a few days. One of them will probably be a Jennings beer and the other might be one of the company's monthly changing guest beers. He is hoping to have a mini beer festival in the summer with an outside marquee.

Duke of Cumberland (Cottingham): Paul Raper is the new tenant. He also has the lease on the Angel in Beverley and the Stags Head in Lelly. Jennings Cumberland Ale and Marston's Pedigree are the regular beers available and another Jennings beer is also sold.

Victoria (Beverley): The pub has stopped giving 20% discount to CAMRA members and is no longer advertising in Pub Mirror. The decision to do so has been made by the owning pub group.

Ship Inn (Sewerby): This is situated near the sea-front, in the village of Sewerby, just north of Bridlington. John Kilburn is the new licensee of the Wolverhampton & Dudley owned pub. It is his first pub and he took over about 12 weeks ago.

Springhead (Anlaby): It was reported that a decision would be made in the next few weeks on how much emphasis there will be on live music in the future.

Beech Tree (Kirk Ella): The licensee's wife is to become area manager for the owning company.

Watts Arms (Ottringham): Tracy and Wayne Frank have taken over this freehouse. They previously ran the Rock Tavern in Elland. Tetley Bitter and a guest beer are available. Bar meals are available Thu, Fri, Sat and Sunday lunch.

Red Hawk (Brough): Dave Sear (previously at the Altisidora) is selling Banks Bitter and a guest

Queen's Head (Kirkburn): John Smith's Bitter is available and a guest beer over was available over Christmas. Business has been slow to pick up because of all the uncertainty caused by the pub being open and closed so many times recently. The beer range will increase as more people visit. Open all day for food (inc bacon sarnis) and news about the quality of the food is spreading. The pub has been redecorated inside and the kitchen revamped.

Half Moon (Skidby): Mick and Roma have recently taken on the lease. They have been in the trade 20 years. John Smith's Bitter, Old Speckled Hen and a guest is available (Spitfire recently). They still do the large Yorkshire Puddings and other home made food

Black Prince (Cottingham): Debra Leveridge and her son Gary Siddle have taken on the pub. They previously ran the Pump House in London. Jennings Bitter, Cumberland Ale and Marston's Pedigree are the regulars available.

Triton Inn (Sledmere): The new licensee is Lance Moxon. No news has been received as to whether the place has reopened as yet.

Tiger (Driffield): Bill Cowen is running the pub and it is well worth a visit. John Smith's Bitter and three guest ales are available at weekends (probably less during the week).

Blue Bell (Sproatly): The new licensee is Judy Campbell. She has worked at the pub for 17 years and took over 13 weeks ago. John Smith's and Tetley Bitter are available.

Duke of Cumberland (North Ferriby): The licensee has moved to the Wheat Sheaf in Kirk Ella.

Wheat Sheaf (Kirk Ella): The licensee has recently moved to the Altisidora at Bishop Burton.

Triton Inn (Brantingham): The pub is expected to reopen in the 2nd week of December.

Half Moon (Skidby): The pub has new tenants.

Oddfellows (Beverley): The licensee has recently obtained Cask Marque accreditation.

Durham Ox (Beverley): The licensee has just received a 'Beautiful Beer Award' from the BB&PA.

Cross Keys (Cottingham): The present manager (Ian Pawson) is taking the lease on the pub.

Springhead (Anlaby): The pub has had a reputation for live music over the years but is to become more of a Family Pub. Terry Kent is to remain as the licensee.

Tiger Inn (Beverley): A guest beer is now available (£2.40 a pint). The new licensee is thought to be from Sheffield.

Green Dragon (Beverley): A second letter had been received from a CAMRA members about the attitude of the licensee to beer been returned when it is clearly off.

Marlborough Club (Hessle): An application has been submitted to convert it into a café bar.

Black Prince (Cottingham): The pub has a new licensee and three real ales have been introduced: Jennings Bitter, Jennings Cumberland and Marston's Pedigree.

Oddfellows (Beverley): The pub has recently gained the cask marque accreditation.

Green Dragon (Beverley): The pub is holding a mini beer festival from the 5th - 12th November with 7 beers served by handpump and 2 served by gravity.

Dacre Arms (Brandesburton): The pub has been purchased by Amazing Drinks of Hull in partnership with Greene King.

Beech Tree (Kirkella): The pub (owned by Ember Inns) is advertising that it has a beer festival ongoing - but in reality it is only advertising the guest beers that are forthcoming.

Triton Inn (Sledmere): It was reported that a sign on the pub suggests that it is to re-open in winter 2006. Alan is to contact Barry Crux (the selling agent) to try and get confirmation.

Duke of Cumberland (Cottingham): A new tenant takes over in January.

Queens Head (Kirkburn): The pub is to reopen on the 1st December and Andrea Boyes and her husband will be running the place. The kitchen has been re-vamped.

Pipe & Glass (South Dalton): The pub has received a top award for using locally grown food. They also show the same commitment to our local breweries.

London Bar (Driffield): A new bar on the corner of Market Place and Mill Street had opened.

Royal Mail (Thorngumbald): Amanda Cox, who was managing the pub for her sister, has bought the lease.

Durham Ox (Beverley): The licensee has gained the cask marque accreditation, and he is having new coolers and pipework fitted.

Rose & Crown (Driffield): In a recent spot check from cask marque it scored 20 out of 20 on all the beers.

Duke of Cumberland (Cottingham): The Riding Bitter has been removed and replaced with a Jennings beer.

Watts Arms (Ottrington): The licensee is leaving in the near future.
