The layout is basically unchanged but the bench seating under the window has been removed and old wood panelling and the serving bar have been replaced with less traditional style. Pelican (James Reckitt Avenue): The new licensees are Phillip and Dean Hoggard. The pub is rumoured to have cask ale on, so reports are needed please.
Ruscadors (Queen Street): The pub has Fullers London Pride but there is a question mark over a handpump displaying keg Chestnut Mild.

In the near future the nitro-keg version of Jennings Bitter will be replaced with the cask version.
Hop & Vine (Albion Street): Alan said that he had received a number of complaints recently about the temperature of the real ale at the pub. Stewart said that he was aware of the problem and he had sent an e-mail out to the Active Members Group apologising. He had also explained what he had already done to rectify the problem and what he intended to do in the future. The apology and his intended action to rectify the problem were repeated to the meeting. Alan asked Stewart to keep him informed of work carried out and asked members to give feedback direct to Stewart.

It was agreed that a wake should be held on the last day from 2.00 pm until 4.00 pm. Master’s Bar (South Street): Mark Farmer, the current licensee, has only been there for a few weeks and says that the lease on the pub is still being advertised by Enterprise Inns because he has not yet signed the lease agreement. He is prepared to do so when the company has fulfilled their promise to carry out a minor refurbishment in about a month's time. The pub will remain open during the refurbishment. It will include the installation of 2 handpumps on which he will sell one regular beer from Scottish Courage and one changing beer from Scottish Courage.
