Hull & East Yorkshire Branch of CAMRA members will soon be voting for their Pub of the Year 2007. We have three categories for Pub of the Year, City (Hull), Town and Rural/Village.
The criteria for Pub of the Year that should be considered are quality of beer; atmosphere/style/décor; clientele mix; service and welcome; good value and sympathy with CAMRA's aims. In order for a pub to be considered the licensee must have been in the pub continuously since 1st January 2007.
The branch will be voting for the Good Beer Guide 2009 nominations at the Open Meeting on the first Wednesday in December (5th December, the George Hotel, Land of Green Ginger). The five highest scoring City, Town and Village pubs will become the nominations for the three Pub Of The Year 2007 awards.
The vote for the POTY 2007 awards will then take place from the day after the December Open Meeting until the January Open Meeting that is to be held on the second Wednesday in January (9th January, Bay Horse, Wincolmlee).
